Cold Splash

Inadequate sleeping hours can cause the skin to dry up and flake the next morning. To avoid that, put on a sleeping mask before hitting the sack to retain moisture overnight. Use moisturizer after cleansing your face in the morning to further lock in the H2O and prevent dry and flaky skin throughout the day. Bring a travel-friendly size face moisturizer in your handbag so you can touch up when needed.

Not for breakfast! Dunk a small face towel in a bowl of ice and milk. Squeeze out the excess liquid and place the towel over your face for five minutes. Follow with a good wash. This combination will give instant hydration and lift to the face. You can also pour milk on an ice cube tray and freeze it overnight for a quick morning pick me up before work.

Puff Off

You think getting rid of the puff with makeup will help? Think again. The puffy eye appearance will only make your makeup look worse. Instead, reduce the swelling by placing something cold on that area. You can refrigerate a spoon or last night’s tea bag and use it to reduce the million-dollar-bags.

Eye Cream

If the puffy eyes don’t seem to go away with the first trick, use an eye cream. For a more effective result and some cooling sensation, store your product in the fridge. Apply the eye cream the next morning. Gently massage the product around your eyes.

Panda Eyes Be Gone

Lighten your dark circles with cucumber puree. Blend cucumber until smooth and add a bit of water to it. Take a bunch of cotton pads and soak it in the cucumber puree. Squeeze out any excess and store it in a Ziploc bag. Keep in the fridge. Once it’s chilled, place cotton pads on both eyes and leave it on for 15 minutes or until dry. You can keep this up to 30 days
