A narcissist is someone we have all encountered, in work or church, school and yes even in our homes. They always find a way to make every single topic about them, or their lives or an experience they have. Most people do it and have no idea that they have become the things they criticize. There are a lot of signs which are associated with an individual who is a narcissist. here are a couple of them.
More likely to cheat:
That’s because a narcissist won’t put the feelings of the partner above his or her own. There’s an undeniable self-esteem boost that comes when you find out another person — even if that person is not your partner — is attracted to you.
They don’t like criticism:
While no one can honestly say they like receiving criticism, people with narcissism are hyper-sensitive to it. Once criticised, they become visibly moody and disoriented.
They have a great first impression:
Narcissists tend to be great at first impressions, coming across as very charismatic and personable, as such you have no choice but to fall in love with their person.
Excuses are a narcissist’s best friend:
At work, for any responsibility given to them, narcissists have a tendency to make excuses for failure to accomplish tasks. They blame everything and anything except themselves, never take responsibility for their mistakes.
Appearance is everything to them:
A person with narcissisism is not necessarily more attractive than other people out there, but they do take care of their appearance and place an importance on looking physically attractive.
Guilty of name dropping:
Very rare do you not see someone with narcissism that doesn’t name drop once a situation pop up. ” I hung out with Dangote” ” I know this person” It’s all in the name of self-promotion and making themselves seem better and more important.
If you fall into any of the above categories, my dear is probably a low-key narcissist, or you just have a really weird attitude.
