AVOID TOBACCO
This will do a huge favour to your teeth. One, it will save you from the possibility of oral cancer and lung cancer. Two, it will save you from the countless ill effects caused by agents used to mask the smell of tobacco. For example, if you smoke a cigarette, you may use a menthol chewing gum, tea or coffee to mask the smoky breath and odour. This doubles the amount of damage caused.

BRUSHING
This is one of the easiest steps to do to help your teeth keep clean. Sounds relatively easy, put a toothbrush to your teeth and brush away your dental sorrows. Making sure to do this gently in order to avoid bleeding (una wey dey use power take brush).Regular brushing cleans your mouth and provides you with fresh breath. But substituting toothpaste for gum is not a very wise idea, as it stores plaque, stains the teeth and allows for tartar build up. Nobody wants a friend who is particularly known for bad breath.

FLOSSING
We know, it’s a chore and a lot of times forgetful after brushing if rushing out the door or heading to bed. However, flossing can help you remove food particles and other detrimental substances that brushing regularly cannot. Flossing allows you to reach deep between your teeth where the toothbrush cannot go or even mouthwash cannot wash away. We recommend flossing at least once a day.
